Eligibility

Members of Backward Classes living below
double the poverty line are eligible to obtain financial
assistance by NBCFDC through
State Channelising Agencies (SCAs).at concessional rate of
Interest.

At present persons whose family income is
below Rs.20,000/- per annum in rural areas and Rs.27,500/- per annum in
urban areas are considered to be below poverty line, and those whose
family income is below Rs.40,000/- per annum in rural areas and
Rs.55,000/- per annum in urban areas respectively are considered to be
below double poverty line. Caste and the Income Certificates are issued
by Competent Authorities in the respective States.

Eligible persons desirous of obtaining
assistance under NBCFDC schemes should contact the Distt. Collector or
Distt. Manager/Officer of respective SCAs.
